Speech pathologists work with people with communication or swallowing difficulties.Areas of support:*Developing understanding and use of language*Saying speech sounds accurately*Using alternative forms of communication including key word sign, communication books and communication devices*Social skills, play skills and behaviour*Eating and drinking safely*Fluency (stuttering)*Voice (e.g. increasing volume)Therapy services are integrated within school programs and may include working:*Alongside teachers and educational support staff in classrooms*With individuals or groups of students*On whole school strategies that support participation and inclusion
